fil pants are handmade in Valencia, Spain, using traditional tailoring techniques. We cut out each piece of the pattern by hand and sew them individually, allowing us to pay attention to the smallest detail and create unique pieces.
Our approach to slow production is guided by careful attention to detail during the manufacturing process and a thoughtful search for new and deadstock fabrics.

We select comfortable fabrics to ensure that each garment has a long lifespan. Alongside new textiles, we also use carefully chosen deadstock — unused materials from past collections. By making the most of existing resources, we give these forgotten fabrics a beautiful new lease of life — creating something playful, conscious, and made to last.
Because of the nature of these fabrics, it’s not always possible to determine their exact composition. We recommend washing with care and being mindful of possible sensitivities or allergies.
For each pair of pants in our online store, you will find information on whether the fabric is new or deadstock, as well as its composition if possible.

My name is Irene and I am the creator of fil pants. I have always been passionate about celebrating life's little moments with love and care. Since becoming a mama, these moments have become wonderfully chaotic: coffee spilled on building blocks. Wooden horses in unusual places. Dirt and paint everywhere. Snails and races. Jumps, surprises and time that seems to run and stop at the same time. In this mix, I find so much beauty. That's why I created fil pants: a humble representation of a world that is neither adult nor childish, but both, and for everyone. A life that is fun, free, chaotic, and full of true love.
